Is the roof inspection really free?
Yes. Our standard roof inspection with photos and a verbal report is free and comes with no obligation. If you need a formal written report for a real estate transaction or a specific insurer document, we will let you know up front if there is any cost.
What do you check during the inspection?
We look at the field shingles, flashing around chimneys, walls, and skylights, pipe boots and vents, valleys, ridges, and gutters. Where safe and accessible, we also check the attic for moisture, then photograph anything worth noting.
Will you try to sell me a new roof?
No. The whole point of an honest inspection is a straight answer, and often that is that your roof is fine. If you do need work, we explain whether a repair will do or a replacement makes more sense, and leave the decision to you.
Should I get inspected after a storm even if I see no damage?
