A roof warranty is only as good as the company behind it. Here is how Blue Rhino backs its work, in plain language, so you know exactly what is protected and what to expect.
Two kinds of coverage
Every quality roof has two layers of protection, and it helps to understand the difference:
- Manufacturer material warranty. Covers defects in the roofing materials themselves, shingles, metal panels, or tile, for a period set by the manufacturer. Proper installation by a qualified roofer is what keeps this coverage valid.
- Workmanship warranty. Covers the installation itself, the part a manufacturer cannot warranty because they did not do the work. This is where a local, accountable roofer matters most.
Our workmanship promise
Blue Rhino provides a written workmanship warranty on the roofs we install. If a problem traces back to how we installed your roof, we make it right. Because we are local and owner-led, that promise is backed by a company you can actually reach, not a crew that left the state after the job.
"A warranty from a roofer who is gone next year is just a piece of paper. Ours is backed by a phone that still gets answered."
Shawn, Owner, Blue Rhino RoofingWhat keeps your warranty valid
A few things protect your coverage on any roof:
- Proper installation to manufacturer specifications, which is exactly how we install.
- Adequate attic ventilation, which many warranties require.
- Routine upkeep. Our roof maintenance keeps small issues from becoming warranty problems.
- Using a qualified roofer for any future repairs, so the work stays compatible and documented.
Warranty and insurance claims
Warranties cover defects and workmanship. Storm damage is a separate matter handled through your homeowners insurance, and we manage those claims by the book. See our claims process for how that works.
