Membranes, repairs, and what makes a low-slope roof last.
Which flat roof membrane is best?
It depends on the building. TPO and PVC are popular single-ply options with strong heat and weather performance; modified bitumen suits certain applications well. We specify based on your slope, traffic, and budget rather than pushing one product.
Can my flat roof be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes. If the deck is dry and the membrane is largely sound, we can repair seams, flashings, and penetrations and extend the roof's life significantly. We only recommend replacement when it is genuinely the better value.
Is a roof coating a real fix?
Sometimes, for the right roof. But a coating over a wet deck or failing seams just hides the problem. We will tell you honestly whether coating, repair, or replacement is the right call.
How do you handle ponding water?
We address the cause, drainage and slope, rather than just sealing over it. Correcting how water leaves the roof is what actually protects the membrane and structure.
